The Committee on National Security and Defence recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis and in entirety the draft law on amendments to article 8 of the Law “On the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine” (re state property management)

The bill (Reg. No. 3551) suggests, after part one, supplement article 8 of the Law “On the National Defence and Security Council of Ukraine” with a new part.

Having considered experts’ remarks, the people’s deputies suggest that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt the bill in the following version:

“Secretariat of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine is a legal person and, under the legislation, performs managerial functions on the state property assigned to it.”
